Debi Lee, I am glad the designs work well for you. However, if they come from Fez, it is not the same factory we manufactured in. I ran the production for the company for years, flying between Los Angeles and Morocco regularly. The clothing was made in a factory close to their house is Essaouira a beautiful town on the coast. The factory in Fez may have purchased the patterns or copied them after she and her husband passed away.

Wow, this is crazy! I’m the model in #8, Elle Magazine 1987. I was searching for 80’s fashion ideas for a party and my picture popped up! I’m sad your blog is down, this is really a neat sight. I have the 1987 Esprit Jeans and European catalogues and the Elle magazine and the 25th Anniversary Rolling Stone mag where this full-page ad also appeared. This brings back amazing memories for me- I just can’t believe it was 28 years ago!
